Delaware County Family Practice Firm Adds New Healthcare Provider

Drexel Hill, PA, August 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Family Health Associates of Drexel Hill and Delaware County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of their newest full-time healthcare provider, Daniel Patrick Scott. Mr. Scott is a board-certified physician assistant who joins the practice with a wealth of medical experience, including cardiology, emergency and family medicine. In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Mr. Scott served as an Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and the University of the Sciences, is an on-going educator for Medical Education Teaching Associates, and is a 15-year EMT volunteer and board member for the Good Fellowship Ambulance Club in West Chester, PA.

Daniel Scott, PA-C is affiliated with Delaware County and Bryn Mawr Hospitals and is a Lt. Commander in the United States Public Health Service. A published author and graduate of Cabrini College in Radnor, Mr. Scott trained in physician assistant studies with Philadelphia University and received his Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in health sciences at Nova Southeastern University.
