Calloway’s Nursery Sponsors the Grand Opening of Texas Discovery Gardens’ Butterfly House
Fort Worth, TX, August 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Calloway’s Nursery partnered with Texas Discovery Gardens Fair Park in Dallas to sponsor the grand opening of the Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House in September.
In a joint effort to better serve Texas garden lovers, the two organizations collaborated this year by providing relevant gardening tips and advice from Calloway’s Nursery and gardening event information from Texas Discovery Gardens. The partnership culminates with the grand opening of the Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium on Sept. 12, which will showcase up to 1,000 free-flying butterflies during peak season.
Interested parties can obtain coupons for discounted admission to Texas Discovery Gardens at all 17 Calloway’s locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Inspired visitors to the Texas Discovery Gardens can also participate in Calloway’s weekly Saturday gardening clinics or just stop by one of the stores to speak with a gardening expert to learn more about creating his or her own butterfly and hummingbird garden.
“Texas Discovery Gardens is excited to partner with Calloway’s Nursery for this historic event, the grand opening of the Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium,” said Melissa Martin, Executive Director for Texas Discovery Gardens. “This partnership creates a wonderful synergy as both organizations hold the highest level of excellence in horticultural expertise and educational programming. Our goal is the same: to help people create beautiful gardens and maintain them. Our butterfly house will inspire even more people to get outside, garden and reap the benefits of a bounty of butterflies!”
“Our partnership with Texas Discovery Gardens has been a rewarding one in that, together, we have been able to inspire gardeners throughout the metroplex. We are looking forward to the grand opening of the butterfly house next month” Kimberly Bird, Vice President of Retail Marketing, said.
