Miracle Temple Networks Launches New Christian Television Network
The Making of a Media Giant Could be Baltimore's Best Kept Secret
Baltimore, MD, August 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A Miracle On 100 S. Rock Glen
The title was not meant to prepare the reader for a Christmas story. This story is one of many miracles happening at this one little church fellowship on 100 S. Rock Glen.
An exciting breakthrough is brewing at a local church that will have media giants wondering what just happened…literally overnight.
If creativity is a blessing, God is blessing one local congregation to think big and rely on the power of prayer.
Out of adversity, two members of Miracle Temple SDA church start scratching their heads over how they can take over a Media Ministry team and make it better.
A lack of adequate funding plagued with low team morale and changing leadership were all challenges that faced Dorian McDonald and Rich Herard. The prevailing question in their minds was, “How are we going to do this?”
For most Christians reading this story, the next step involves prayer...yes, that "crazy" thing people do.
The truth of the matter is shortly after prayer, something amazing happened.
With a careful assessment of the resources and the creativity that existed with the remnants of a dying Ministry team, an idea popped in their heads. “If we have the capability to live stream our church service on the internet, why not a 24 hour channel with diverse Christian-based content?”
That question that would have kept this story at an acceptable level of achievement and success.
However, it gets even better. “Why can’t we have multiple channels? Why not start a television network?” Isn’t that crazy? It sure is… and guess what?
In 8 weeks, Miracle Temple Network reached 80+ countries.
Ideas for content have been pouring in and are being screened for consideration. Churches are calling to find out how they can start their own network channel. What does prayer have to do with it?
Ask any member of Miracle Temple, and they would probably tell you the same thing, “It’s what we do!”
Keep in mind all of this activity took place with an all volunteer team of people that were committed to one cause, making the dream of launching a television network a reality.
The media-at-large has already given enough attention to the Christian lifestyle that is creating a prosperous market for the product and service innovators that see the vision of catering to this attractive demographic.
MTN fills a unique need creating a framework for diverse content to that very same demographic. If only one percent of the *2.1 billion Christians out there were to tune into MTN at some point in their lifetime, this project would have exceeded its wildest expectations.
And that, dear readers, represents the birth of another miracle taking place on 100 S. Rock Glen.
There’s so much more…stay tuned for new developments or pay a visit to see how miracles happen at 100 S. Rock Glen.
