Springville, CA, August 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Springville's historic landmark, The Springville Ranch will host its second Farmers Market on Saturday, August 29th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm after the success of its first Farmers Market earlier this month.
Vendors will be selling local produce, grass-fed beef, crafts, handmade baked goods, nuts, honey, native plants and more. Breakfast buriritos will be available and The Long Riders band will perform at “high noon” with a BBQ lunch served for $10.
“I had such a great response from our first Farmers Market that I am excited to continue hosting markets at the Springville Ranch,” says Brooke Holve, Farmers Market Organizer. “Farmers markets are a great source of fresh local foods, plus the Springville Ranch is a unique venue where the whole family can enjoy themselves.”
The Springville Ranch is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at the corner of Highway 190 and Balch Park Road in Springville, CA. The landmark “Big White Barn” was built in 1945 on land owned by the S.A. Camp family to use as a breeding and training farm for their nationally famous string of harness horses. Today, the Springville Ranch is privately owned and used for weddings and special events. For more information: www.springvilleranch.com
