The London International Creative Competition, LICC, is pleased, for the second consecutive year, to announce the 2009 finalists and shortlists of their annual competition on September 6 in Soho, London.

Shapi Khorsandi, the fresh face of British comedy will be hosting this year’s awards during what promises to be an exciting gathering of eclectic guests in an exceptionally cosmopolitan environment.
All finalists get free admission to the prestigious 2009 Lucie Awards in NYC, where their work will be showcased and screened. Also, the 2009 LICC Artist of the year and New talent of the year will be presented with their trophy on stage, at the Soho Theatre, London on Sunday, September 6, 2009, 7:00-9:00pm.
Although selecting among an amazing talent roster has been quite a task for our panel of experts, finalists have been announced as follows: Piljoon Jeon, Christian Weber, Heather Noonan, Julianne Rose, Glen Erler, Gulten Imamoglu, Takao Aoyama, Wenjun Li, Shin Jung Pan, Timothy Schreiber, Doug Argue, Richard Zeiss, Ramesh Mallya, Tiffany Trenda, Jeremy Hatch.
Background
LICC is a vehicle for facilitating contact between uniquely talented artists and an international audience. The first year’s competition attracted thousands of entries from 73 countries. LICC was founded by the Farmani Group in 2006.
Among other achievements, Hossein Farmani has founded several world-recognised charities, and art organisations including The Lucie Awards and International Photography Awards. LICC was formed to provide an open platform and an even playing field for artists from all walks of life. The competition is open to artists from around the world and is judged solely on the artwork.
