AM Pittsburgh Models and Talent Reaches Out to Pittsburgh Communities
Upcoming 2009/2010 events will benefit families of Flight 93 victims, American Diabetes Association, and Homeless Children’s Education Fund.
Pittsburgh, PA, August 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- AM Pittsburgh Models and Talent, LLC will sponsor three upcoming benefits, two in September 2009 and a third in January 2010.
The 9/11 Fashion Show will be held Friday, September 11 at Zen Nightclub, located in Pittsburgh’s Station Square. Proceeds from the show will be donated to the families of victims of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Stonycreek Township on September 11, 2001.
AM Pittsburgh is also a sponsor for the American Diabetes Association’s ADA Expo. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Thirty AM Pittsburgh models will participate as “Sleeping Beauties” as part of the Divabetic presentation, “Getting Enough Sleep with Diabetes” on the convention center’s main stage.
A third charity event has been announced for Saturday, January 23, 2010. AM Pittsburgh’s Project Evolution will sponsor a fundraiser at the Carnegie Music Hall to benefit the Homeless Children’s Education Fund.
“Our goal has always been to reach out and make a difference,” said AM Pittsburgh President and CEO Dawn Lilly. "We are embarking on a journey of passion, perseverance, endurance, discipline, respect and ethics of the highest standards - the philosophy, heart and soul of AM Pittsburgh."
