“Lord I Remember” Video is Blessed Assurance

The Meeks Lewis Project's powerful Lord I Remember video transcends generations and cultures.

New York, NY, September 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The music group the Meeks Lewis Project’s first video release “Lord I Remember” is a heartwarming video that is bridging the generation gap as aging rap and popular music pioneers compete with the new hip hop and pop entrepreneurs of today. The “Lord I Remember” video release coincides with the global mourning of the loss of Americans icon and legends. However the song, “Lord I Remember”, celebrates life. The song, “Lord I Remember” celebrates not only the longevity of life but the quality and the fullness of life.

Directed by Rene Stanley, the “Lord I Remember” video was shot in high definition video in New York City and Pensacola, Florida and features vintage photographs from the Meeks Family archives. A story of a life is told in pictures and is reflected in jazz and Christian melodies. A grandson thoughtfully anticipates growing older as a viable reality and a grandfather pensively reviews his youth as a glorious journey achieved and fulfilled.

Ell Stanley from the R&B Duo, Jay R Ell, was happy to appear in the video as Jay R Stanley assumed production and camera duties. The young men are accustomed to working with a limited budget and with creative financing. Collectively, they has produced over a dozen short films and local television shows and are currently working on a feature film.

The full audio single is on the independent label Glory Rhythms which is affiliated with London Elliott Music and can be found on Itunes while the video can be viewed at the Meeks Lewis Project band website at www.lordiremember.com.
