DIDX Adds Singapore and Malaysian POPs to Total Over 17 Million DID
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Super Technologies' DIDX DID and SIP trunking marketplace was a pioneer in 2005, offering the world's first truly wholesale platform for phone number buy, sell and trade. With over 14,000 members from 170 nations, it announces today its new and crucially important points of presence (POP) in Malaysia and Singapore.
"A point of presence (POP) in internet protocol is equivalent to a base station in mobile telephony. On the other hand, the potential of a POP is expandable depending upon the nodes attached to it," stated Rehan Ahmed, President of Super Technologies, Inc. and inventor of DIDX. "Wholesale telecoms and voip service providers as well as their SMB and consumer users will benefit from the reduction of total latency to any part of the world. Local ITSPs in Asia and hosted PBX providers can now add Singapore and Malaysia DID to their point offerings with confidence."
Asian, Middle East and African countries' local phone numbers available on DIDX include: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, and Thailand. More of all three areas will added soon. DIDX offers DID and DDI in countries. The complete DID area list of 63 countries, 1,212 areas, and dozens of thousands of cities is at http://www.didx.net/did. Seventeen million phone numbers from DIDX now enable millions of consumer, business and organization users of its wholesale members to have a local presence in areas remote from their physical location.
"Just in Pakistan alone, there are over 94 million mobile phone users. In Vietnam there over 73 million. China and India together have over 644 million and 391 million respectively," Suzanne Bowen, vice president of marketing and co-founder of Super Technologies, Inc. and DIDX. "We are attending meetings and conferences in Vietnam, Philippines, and parts of Africa this year where we have meetings to finish business agreements to add phone numbers from a dozen new Asian and African countries. We believe these markets are as essential as Europe, Australia and New Zealand and the Americas."
DIDX will be at ITEXPO West September 1-3, 2009 giving demonstrations of fax over IP with DIDX DID, showcase the new POPs, and assisting wired and wireless telcos and voip companies to sign up and complete interop right at the booth 125. Representatives will be on hand who speak English, Russian, Spanish, French, Chinese and Swahili.
