Commenting generally about the end of the North Islands train service Kiwi Traveller managing director Chris Barber said today “It’s about time that backpackers and locals alike were given an alternative option, now that the old Overlander train service has been discontinued. Kiwis are not willing to pay lots of money for an intercity service that resembles the old styles of Kiwi Experience, Magic Bus, Stray and Newman’s. Kiwi Traveller will give them all a shake up by providing a far more affordable service.”
