Eatontown, NJ, September 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Roadmaster (USA) Corp., an innovative after-market manufacturer of mobile audio, video and multi-media systems, announced today the roll-out of the Mobile Video Gaming Solution (VGC100). Designed for the avid gamer, the VGC100 enables home game consoles to be played in the car with no special attachments or adapters.
In-Car Theater, the latest craze in vehicle entertainment, opened the door to more options than just video. Until now, portable game consoles were the only mobile alternative for gaming enthusiasts. “Unfortunately, small handheld game systems lack the titles and excitement of the powerful home platforms,” said Robert Colas, an engineer at Roadmaster (USA)®. “Playing home game consoles in the car was the next logical step for video games in general.” Gamers get the benefits of their home systems on the road: high quality graphics, multi-player action and the full range of available titles.
At the heart of the VGC100 is a specially designed 300 watt power inverter specifically engineered to meet the clean current needs of today’s complicated home gaming consoles. The power inverter accepts the standard 2 or 3-prong power plug that comes with a console and is normally plugged into a wall outlet. Another integral part of the system, the 8.9” flat-panel TFT LCD monitor is designed to eliminate motion trails for sharp, seamless game play. Built-in, full-range speakers round out the gaming experience.
The VGC100 works with all current and past PlayStation®, XBOX® and Nintendo® consoles. When not in use for gaming it doubles as a music or video player. Utilizing either an SD card or a USB flash drive, the unit plays MPEG, MP3, WMA, OGG and AAC. Additionally, the user can hook up an iPod®, DVD player or VCR to watch movies on the go.
Initially the VGC100 will be available at Wal-Mart stores across the country and eventually available at a wide array of outlets. In the future a full line of accessories will be marketed under the VR3 brand to support and expand the versatility of the Mobile Video Gaming Solution.
Delivering a full spectrum of practical and affordable high-quality products with a wide variety of options and performance levels, Roadmaster (USA) [www.RoadmasterUSA.com] is dedicated to developing the best price/performance ratios in the mobile audio/video, Bluetooth® and auto accessories markets.
