New GlobeRiders DVD Documentary Follows the Ride-of-All-Rides Motorcycle Journey

Seattle, WA, September 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In 2002, motorcycle adventurer and photojournalist Helge Pedersen helped a group of 11 riders fulfill their dreams on a true, long distance motorcycle trip – an 11,000-mile ride across Eurasia. A new DVD video has just been released by Pedersen’s company, GlobeRiders LLC, Seattle, WA. USA, documenting the entire journey from Shanghi, China to Munich, Germany. Considered by many adventure motorcyclists as The ride of all rides, the journey began in China when the group set out from Shanghai to ride across the largest landmass on the planet. They headed north through the densely populated cites of China, crossing the Great Wall and dealing with the elements, mechanical breakdowns and non-existent roads. Crossing the border from Inner Mongolia into Russia, they headed west across the vast Siberian Taiga riding thousands of miles across eight time zones covered with endless forests and scattered with land-hardened people. Russia's Ural Mountains served as the gateway for the riders into Europe and the Black Sea. Through the green rolling hills and post-Soviet shadows of the Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, they finally arrived in Munich, Germany, having traveled 65 days and 11,000 miles.

Riding around the world on a motorcycle has always been a dream to pursue for many adventure riders. Traveling through foreign countries, seeing the incredible diversity of scenery along the way and meeting the local residents was a dream these riders were able to actually accomplish.
