The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Signs Flexfit as Official Headwear Sponsor
Flexfit is the official headwear sponsor for the 2009 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, an Official PGA TOUR event.
Las Vegas, NV, September 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Flexfit is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open October 11-18 at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. As official headwear sponsor, Flexfit will be donating 1600 custom hats including 1000 volunteer hats, 200 Championship Pro-Am hats and 400 children’s hats for the October 11th Youth clinic hosted by Justin Timberlake.
Staff members at The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open will be wearing Flexfit’s Cool & Dry Pique Mesh hats, each embroidered with a flat Flexfit logo on the side. Championship Pro-Am hats will be Flexfit’s Cool & Dry Double Twill Span hat in black with silver contrast stitching.
Flexfit has always incorporated philanthropic work into its business model and continues to do so with this latest sponsorship venture. The weeklong charitable event will consist of two professional practice golf rounds, the championship Pro-Am featuring Justin Timberlake, four rounds of professional golf competition and the golf clinic hosted by Justin Timberlake. The event will wrap up with the final round of professional competition and trophy presentation by Justin Timberlake on the 18th green on Sunday, October 18.
All net proceeds from The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, including ticket sales, sponsorships and donations will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. The tournament will be played on the 7223-yard TPC Summerlin par-71 golf course with a total purse of $4.2 million, and a prize of $756,000 going to the winner. Marc Turnesa is this year’s defending champion.
