Arsenal Family & Children’s Center Names Blue Archer Principal to Board of Trustees
Faletti adds non-profit experience, professional expertise to local Pittsburgh organization.222222222222
Pittsburgh, PA, September 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Arsenal Family & Children’s Center, a private, nonprofit institution dedicated to the positive development of children, has recently appointed Blue Archer Principal Robert Faletti to the organization’s Board of Trustees. The partnership was coordinated through the Boards-by-Design program at Duquesne University’s Nonprofit Leadership Institute.
“The mission of Arsenal Family & Children's Center is to promote and to be an advocate for the healthy development of children and to support their parents in building a nurturing relationship with each child,” said Michelle Rupert, Director of Development at Arsenal Family & Children’s Center. “Our philosophy is built on more than 50 years of observation, careful study and work with children.”
The new partnership with Arsenal Family and Children’s Center continues Faletti’s involvement with volunteer organizations. His previous volunteer work includes serving as president for the Association of Corporate Growth Pittsburgh, an active volunteer with the National Alliance for Autism Research (now Autism Speaks), and past president of PUMP, the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project. Mr. Faletti is also an active volunteer at his church, primarily assisting disadvantaged community members with home improvement projects.
Mr. Faletti is also very active within Blue Archer’s nonprofit technology and marketing practice, which is quickly becoming an expanding part of Blue Archer’s project work.
“We are very excited about having Bob on our board,” said Rupert. “The addition of Bob’s extensive experience with non-profit boards, along with his exuberance and commitment to providing his support, professional expertise and helping hand to our organization is very exciting.”
