Gain-Stovall, Inc. to Help City of Fountain Utilities Department Provide Sustainability Tips and Information to Customers

Colorado Springs, CO, September 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The City of Fountain Utilities Department has retained the services of Gain-Stovall, Inc. (GSI), a public and government relations firm, to spread the word about what Fountain Utilities Department is doing to make its services sustainable.

Fountain Utility's renewable portfolio exceeds state mandated standards and the entity is in the process of drafting a climate action plan. In addition to proactive planning to meet the electric demands of a growing community, Utility Director Larry Patterson realizes that heightened customer awareness is needed.

GSI will help create greater awareness of the broad scope of the Fountain Utilities Department’s sustainability efforts and participation in regional sustainability planning and implementation. GSI will also assist Fountain Utilities by creating an electronic newsletter and content for a new website populated with information and money saving conservation/sustainability tips.
