Montclair, NJ, September 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- When Lamborghini of Bergen County was searching for a public relations firm to help successfully unveil the new Gallardo LP560-4 at a private VIP event, they turned to The Hip Event to run the show.

The lavish event, which was held at the Meridian Hanger at Teterboro Airport, featured the new luxury performance sports car as well as private jets with tours provided by Halcyon Jets.

Esteemed guests feasted on gourmet hors d’oeuvres and hand-selected wine. “Each detail of the event was custom designed,” said Maria Cucciniello, president and founder of The Hip Event.

Lamborghini is just one of Cucciniello's clients who represent the firm’s lifestyle marketing niche, one that Cucciniello has carved out with more than a decade of fashion and event planning experience.

Well-known celebrities including Donald Trump, Gloria Gaynor, Smokey Robinson and Adrian Grenier of hit show Entourage have been headliners at past events.

The Hip Event is a full-service public relations and lifestyle marketing business. Services include media relations and industry specific media outreach; press release composition and distribution; marketing campaign design and outreach; Web site design and development; special event planning and sponsorship outreach.

“Our customized approach creates integral marketing campaigns that blend publicity, promotions and media placements that reach an intended target market,” said Cucciniello. “By ways of both traditional and non-traditional approaches, our programs deliver the results you’re hoping for.”

Cucciniello’s experience and business contacts span from New York City to Philadelphia to Atlantic City.

After graduating with a degree in fashion merchandising from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, she started her career in the public relations department of Strawbridge’s, one of Philadelphia’s oldest retail traditions.

While honing her skills in event planning, marketing and public relations, Cucciniello’s began freelancing in the fast-moving world of public relations and special events.

“I was gaining a reputation for as the go-to girl for nightlife promotion and publicity,” she added.

Soon after, she accepted a position at Hugo Boss, and then served as the public relations manager of Neiman Marcus in Short Hills.

During her four year tenure there, she engaged in non-profit partnerships, and worked with regional and national media outlets where she was cited as an expert in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle trends.

Always a woman with an entrepreneurial verve, Cucciniello launched The Hip Event three years ago, and is enjoying self-made success.

She defines her business model as a boutique approach. “We marry our clients within our target market,” said Cucciniello.

“My charity clients work with my restaurant clients who work with my retail clients. We enjoy bringing all of their pieces together for a campaign or an event where all of our clients can benefit.”

This approach fares well with clients, she said. “I have built my business on relationships, if I can’t help a client, I would be happy to introduce that client to someone who can or work with our partners to get the job done.

A public relations specialist, Cucciniello does more than put a positive spin on an event or news item, she spreads the word to the media. Much of her time is spent writing press releases, pitching story ideas to reporters, and networking with her contacts to get your message heard. “We generate positive publicity for our clients and enhance their image and reputation,” added Cucciniello.

In a tight economic climate, Cucciniello advises businesses to carefully plan how to use their marketing dollars. “Everyone is looking to cut costs these days,” she said. “If you are looking to cut costs don’t kill your whole public relations and marketing budget.” She said she realizes that businesses need to prioritize and plan accordingly. “We know that and understand the economic times, with a small staff with long arms we are able to help our clients get all of the marketing, public relations and event needs for a lesser cost than a big agency because our overhead is lower,” Cucciniello added. “In turn we can pass that savings onto our clients.”
