Gogreenstudents.com Opens Charter Membership to Students Around the World
Website is a new climate-change information and social networking site for students in grade school through graduate school.
Los Angeles, CA, September 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- GoGreenStudents. com, a new, climate change education and social networking Website, announces that pre-registration is available starting today for students, parents and school administrators around the world.
GGS.com has three sub-sites for three student groups: young students who are children, high school-age students, and college/university students and graduate students. Each site offers a chance for students to learn about climate change and organize events, both online and in their communities. On the younger students’ sub-site, parents and administrators will have social networking capability. On the high school and college students’ sites, the students will be able to build their own social networks with like-minded fellow students around the world.
Seeking to engage students in climate change issues, GGS.com is a grass roots effort that will fund the site through advertising and donate 50% of all profits back to school-based projects around the world. Schools with the most active students on GGS.com will garner the project funding for their schools.
Students can now go to the site and pre-register by logging on at www.gogreenstudents.com. They will become charter members of this grass roots movement to join students together in making an impact on their classrooms, their schools, their communities and the world. Ultimately, the site will be an organizing base for students interested in greening their own environments—and the world.
