CBS Wins the 2006 Mixology Award for Best Designers of the Year
Colebrook Bosson Saunders (CBS Products) design team won the Mixology Best Designers of the year award for innovation, presentation and methodology.
London, United Kingdom, September 14, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Colebrook Bosson Saunders (CBS Products) design team won the Mixology Best Designers of the year award for innovation, presentation and methodology. Facing tough competition from all the leading designers in the industry, the in-house design team at CBS products continually creates new products that maintain the company’s position as leaders in their field.
The award show was hosted by Mix Interiors, the leading magazine for the UK office industry, market and judged by a panel of architects, specifiers, dealers and consultants who recognised CBS Products had an outstanding design team.
It’s not surprising that design lies at the heart of the company. The three founding directors, all trained as designers and architects, continue to have large input in the product development process.
CBS’s design team is headed up by Andrew Wills who worked out of a studio in Battersea with other talented product designers Alex Lau, Jon Mills and Seiyo Ezure.
The designers at CBS are passionate about design and are continually researching new ideas. The department takes responsibility for the whole process, from concept to production drawings, prototyping and finally manufacture. Thus CBS employs a whole range of designers who produce visual design, understand engineering, materials and diverse manufacturing processes. Mark Jones runs the workshop at the design facility in Battersea, producing prototypes for testing out new designs using diverse materials and processes.
CBS’s design team work hand in hand with the production experts located in Union Street. Kathryn Pashley, Scott Cunningham and Neil Keegan play a large part in the success of CBS’s products. The production team places products under rigorous tests making sure they are durable and safe. They ensure that all our products adhere to the British standard regulations. They are the links between manufacturers and designers. Mixology agrees with CBS that they do a fine job.
The products produced by CBS are always a team output, fresh new products designed by a dynamic bright team as diverse in background as the products themselves.
