This free teleclass is a taste of Barbour and Russell’s upcoming retreat at lovely St. George Island, Florida on October 15-18, 2009. Their “Solitude by the Sea: A Woman’s Retreat for Self-Care and Spirituality” is created for those who crave rest and relaxation and want to learn how to take better care of themselves.
This weekend retreat expands on the solitude practices introduced in the free teleclass. Geralyn will guide participants through restorative yoga for relaxation and rebalancing, guided meditation and breathing awareness for quieting the mind, and labyrinth building and walking. Elizabeth will lead guided journaling and the creation of vision boards. She will also share practical tools and insightful ideas for loving self-care. All of this will take place in luxurious accommodations, with miles of sand and ocean, and abundant encouragement adding to the pampering and rejuvenating experience.
“A second teleclass will be offered in October to help retreat registrants prepare physically, emotionally and spiritually for the weekend itself. One call will be held after the retreat to help participants integrate solitude and retreat as important parts of their daily lives,” said Barbour.
Going on retreat takes courage. Take the first steps by attending the September 13 teleclass and finding out more about the weekend retreat at http://www.elizabethbarbour.com/classes/Solitude-by-the-Sea-Retreat.
