Best Selling Author Dean Koontz Guests on Animal Radio®
Los Angeles, CA, September 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Writer Dean Koontz returns for this weekend's AM/FM and XM Satellite Radio broadcast of Animal Radio® (Sept. 12th).
The frequent guest-host of the popular syndicated animal talk program is back to show off his latest creation, his first non-fiction novel about his long-time furry-friend, ‘Trixie.’
Koontz tells Animal Radio® listeners that he was extremely close to his Golden Retriever, and was distraught with her death. He says “writing the best-seller was cathartic.”
Trixie Koontz had a column of her own, and was a great author too (although we suspect Dean may have been the ghost-writer). An earlier book by the dog (Bliss to You) did very well. Dean says he was jealous when her book outsold his novels.
Dean Koontz shares his work with Canine Companions for Independence and explores our connection with our furry friends.
Catch this special broadcast on any one of the 90+ AM or FM radio affiliates or on XM Satellite Radio ch. 158 (America's Talk) Saturday at noon EST and rebroadcast Sunday at 5pm EST. For additional listening options and times, visit http://AnimalRadio.com.
Animal Radio® is the "most-listened-to" animal programming in the U.S.; created to educate, reduce surrenders and to help animals live long, healthy and happier lives.
