The Knowledge Congress Has Scheduled a Live Webcast on TALF and Its Impact on the Commercial Real-estate Market

As a result of the financial crisis credit to all businesses, including property owners, and financial institutions, The Fed created the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility. TALF’s main goal was to help thaw the credit freeze and strengthen the US economy by injecting hundreds of billions into the credit marketing averting what some believe would have been a complete collapse of the US financial system. In order to keep the recovery momentum going, members of congress have signalled that they will extend the program for another year.
