Is Going Green Good for Sales? Sustainable Business Council and Stonefield Josephson, Inc. Present September 23rd Panel, ‘Sustainable Sales: Profit with Purpose.’

Culver City, CA, September 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- What: Stonefield Josephson, Inc., (http://sjaccounting.com), and the Sustainable Business Council of Los Angeles (SBCLA) (http://sustainablebc.org), hosted by the Mayme A. Clayton Library and Museum, present a panel of entrepreneurs and experts discussing sustainable sales in the green economy.

Eco-friendly ventures are launching, and existing businesses are exploring the ramifications of sustainability as a business model. All share a focus on leveraging market opportunity while effectively managing costs and ecological footprint. The “Sustainable Sales” panel will explore rationales for launching a green start-up or a green division within a traditional business, as well as debate the long-term viability of these initiatives, with a focus on a number of related issues including:

· Why launch a green business in today’s economy?
· How do you gain buy-in from your company for green business initiatives?
· What are green businesses’ biggest financial challenges?
· Is it more costly to run these start-ups and enhanced businesses?
· How does pricing compare to traditional “non-green” businesses in similar markets?
· How are green start-ups and divisions most effectively marketed?
