MS Govern Announces New Additions to Its Executive Management Team

Saint Louis, MO, September 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Management Solutions for Government (MS Govern), a division of Harris Computer Systems, is pleased to announce the additions of Marv (MJ) McElvain and Mark Waldschmidt to its Executive Management Team. They have a combined 40+ years of senior management experience in the municipal government space where they have developed a deep understanding of ERP software requirements and the importance of superior customer service.

MJ joins MS Govern as Executive Vice President, and will be responsible for the daily operations of the division. He has over 20 years of municipal market experience, with an early focus on sales and business development, and more recently, in the capacity of President for one of the Tyler Technologies subsidiaries. He was co-owner of a company called Computer Management Services Inc. (CMS) which he helped grow to a $7 million dollar, 70 employee business prior to selling the company to Tyler Technologies Corporation. MJ remained with Tyler following the acquisition and held various senior management roles within the INCODE, Public Safety and Fund Balance divisions during his 9 years with them.

Mark joins MS Govern as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He spent 15 years at Mitchell Humphrey, a public/private sector ERP software company, in many capacities; most recently as President and CEO. Mark’s passion is sales, and in addition to his years of experience at Mitchell Humphrey, he has also held a senior sales position with New World Systems.
