Fort Myers Dealership Holds Public Auto Auction, Cars Sold for as Little as $200
Fort Myers, FL, September 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On July 25, Ft. Myers Toyota Regional Used Car Superstore hosted a largely successful public auto auction. One hundred pre-owned vehicles were auctioned off, some for as little as $200.
Many people drove away in their new pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs, saving thousands of dollars. Both B103 and Latino 97.7 radio stations were on site giving away freebies, food and refreshments while broadcasting live from the auction. Pamela Templeton, Partner and Vice President of Ft. Myers Toyota remarks, “It’s so exciting to be in the middle of an auction with the music, food and fun!”
She goes on to state, “An auto auction on our property open to the public is a great opportunity to buy at wholesale prices. We’d rather have our customers benefit from the wholesale pricing rather than transport our excess inventory to one of those big commercial auction lots. With customers buying wholesale directly from us, the banks are in a better position to offer very aggressive financing.”
Ft. Myers Toyota had arranged for several banks to be there on site to serve those buyers who needed financial help on the spot. Templeton also praised Fabio Rodas, “Fabio is our secondary finance guru.
