The idea for Baby Beltz was hatched after Katie, herself the mother of an infant son (and pregnant with her second child), became frustrated with the lack of extra small belts that would fit her 10 month old. According to Katie, “my son was in the cruising stage and he kept tripping on his pant legs. He’s a little guy and the waists of his pants were just too big. I wanted him to look cute and trendy, yet also be able to wear the numerous outfits he had amassed from friends and family. Thus, out of necessity, Baby Beltz was born.”
