Graffis and Wilson Join Purple Wave Auction

Manhattan, KS, September 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Purple Wave Auction, a local online auction firm, announced Wayne Graffis and Jeff Wilson joined the company’s business development department. Wilson’s responsibilities include transportation, construction and agricultural accounts while Graffis focuses on Purple Wave’s business development.

With over 25 years of experience in agricultural finance, Graffis owned and managed Capital Resources Funding Group, Inc. providing services to commercial banks in ten states as well as work with Farm Credit and commercial banking. Graffis earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University in Vocational Agricultural Education.

Wilson is a Native of Abilene, Kansas and received his finance degree from Kansas State University. Prior to working with Purple Wave, Wilson was employed by GE Capital specializing in banking, agriculture and capital equipment finance.

In spring 2009, Purple Wave Auction began concentrating on vehicles, heavy, construction and ag equipment online auctions. Compared to the last year, Purple Wave’s 2009 sales volume in the agricultural, construction and heavy equipment asset categories has more than doubled that of the prior year.
