Successful Sunday Lunches Again at Le Meridien Malta
Families, groups of friends and the locals in general have all warmed to Sunday lunches at Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa. This popular feature of hospitality returns on 27 September with a lavish spread and a host of other enticements making the package unbeatable.

For starters, there is a selection of fresh antipasti, large creative salads, an array of cured meats, marinated fish and seafood delicacies, and terrines from both land and sea, accompanied by freshly prepared dips and dressings. There is a choice of two soups and two pastas.
For mains, there is a carvery with honey-glazed smoked port with mango and sage salsa, and garlic-studded log of lamb served with minted jus. Other hot dishes include: marinated beef with garden herbs, Paris mushrooms and Barolo-scented jus; chicken seasoned with rosemary and lemon pepper; supreme of Scottish salmon with citrus and horseradish perfume; and a melange of fresh fish with fennel and leek beurre blanch.
Accompaniments include Moroccan couscous, broccoli and cauliflower Mornay gratine, bouquetiere of fresh market vegetables tossed with parsley olive oil and roast potatoes with rustic tomato and caramelised onions. A separate Asian table includes chicken and sweet corn Oriental soup, sweet and sour pork, Thai fried rice, curry with accompaniments, Hoi Sin glazed Peking duck wrapped in pancakes, soya-infused noodles, Asian nibbles, somozas and spring rolls, accompanied by prawn crackers, poppadoms and a selection of Asian sauces.
There is even a kids’ corner with pasta with tomato sauce, Captain’s fish fingers, chicken nuggets, sausages, smiley potatoes and other yummy goodies.
There is a separate cheese counter with local and international cheeses, nuts, dried fruit, grissini and water biscuits.
For those with a sweet tooth, there are a wide selection of tarts, fresh mousses, individual pastries, live crepes flambé, mouth-watering homemade gateaux and cheese cakes, a chocolate corner including chocolate fountain with carved fruit, mini doughnuts and marshmallows, assorted cakes, seasonal and tropical fruit, and a flavoured ice-cream bar with tantalising accompaniments and toppings.

There is a 10% discount on beverages for bookings larger than six paying adults and a 10% discount on the total bill for groups larger than 15 paying adults.
