Alternative Motors Hires Gerald Koslow as Chief Financial Officer

Las Vegas, NV, August 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Alternative Motors, Inc. has announced the recent hiring of Gerald (Jerry) Koslow as its Chief Financial Officer.

Immediately before joining Alternative Motors, Mr. Koslow was the Vice President and Controller for The Upper Deck Company, a private sports and entertainment trading card manufacturer and distributor. Mr. Koslow also served on the Board at The Upper Deck Company from 2007 until his departure.

Mr. Koslow also was Chief Financial Officer for Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHFL), a public international casino gaming equipment manufacturer, where he financially led the company through three stock splits that advanced the stock value from $2 to $36 per share during his tenure. While he was at Shuffle Master, the company received recognition as one of the fastest growing businesses by Business Week, Fortune, and Forbes Magazines from 2002 to 2004.

Additionally, during the 1990’s, Mr. Koslow held board and financial executive positions in a consumer products manufacturing and a construction firm. Mr. Koslow was also a CPA with Price Waterhouse and a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

In total, Mr. Koslow brings 27 years of accounting, strategic planning and finance development knowledge to Alternative Motors.
