New Ground Collabo Finds Success with "The NGC Podcast Show"

Detroit, MI, September 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- With the rise of podcasting shows over the internet, Indie record label, NEW GROUND COLLABO has thrown their hat into the ring as well. For the past 7 months, the label has their own podcasting show known as "THE NGC PODCAST SHOW."

As CEO G1 explains, "I did an interview for Reggie T.'s own "THE UNSIGNED ARTIST SHOW.” It was the first I had heard of podcasting and I watched how successful it was for him. So we thought why not join the fun?" And so the NGC PODCAST show was born. "Not only could we showcase our own talent, but we could help other indie labels as well."

With the show airing this past February, artists such has NERCO, Sadat X, Billie Miles, LowerB, Kool Keith, Zion I have been showcased. Underground artists such as Charles David, Velben, Sivion, and Substance Abuse have contributed as well. "We never expected the show to be successful as it has been. When you get national acts like Zion I, Billie Miles, Kellie Sae on board and supporting what u do, which makes the podcast even better. Its a great thing to have everyone supporting each other.”

The podcast plays not only hip hop music, but has done several R&B, Jazz shows as well. The show hopes to feature all genres of music. Coming in the future will be podcast is showcasing DJs as well as Rock acts.
