Opportunity to Pitch Your Business to Investors Continued Speed Venture Summit™ Extends Application Deadline
Peterborough, NH, September 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The NH High Technology Council announced that it has extended the Speed Venture Summit™ presenter application deadline to Wednesday, September 30th, to accommodate additional entrepreneurs looking to pitch their businesses to investors.
The Summit, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua, NH, on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, is a premier speed-dating-style event that connects investors with businesses, representing all sectors and stages of development, from start-up to later-stage. In a single afternoon, through one-on-one meetings, a business can make their pitch to the region’s leading private capital investors including: venture capitalist; private equity firms; Angel investors and mezzanine financers.
The “speed-pitching” segment of the Summit will be held from 2:00 to 5:00pm, and will be followed by a two-hour business networking session open to the public that will provide an excellent opportunity for young companies to gain exposure and knowledge around seeking investment capital. Following the speed venturing segment, the Summit will feature a public business networking session that will include a “pitch-off” among the day’s top presenting companies.
“Due to continued interest, we thought it only fair to extend the application deadline to promote fair consideration of businesses that have only just learned of the Summit,” commented Tim Platt, Summit Producer. “The application process in itself is useful in helping businesses refine their executive summary and ultimately improve their presentation. And, for those businesses not quite ready to make their pitch, the summit provides an excellent introduction to the investment capital process.” Platt encourages business owners to check out the details at www.speedventuresummit.org.
