“Arabs Gone Wild” Stand Up Comedy Tour Comes to Montreal
Arab comedians take over Montreal's Gesu Theater for one special night.
Montreal, Canada, September 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- “The Arabs Gone Wild” stand up comedy tour -which has played to sold out shows in the United States and Middle East – performs it’s first show ever in Canada on Saturday, October 10 at the Gesù Theater in Montreal. [The show is in English.]
“With President Bush finally gone, Arabs feel like it’s time to party!” declares co-headliner and producer of the show Dean Obeidallah. “The show is a celebration of being of Arab heritage,” adds co-headliner Maysoon Zayid.
The show will tackle everything from politics to pop culture as well as “Arabs issues” like “Arab time” (why Arabs are always late for everything) to “Dating while Arab.”
“You don’t have to be of Arab heritage to enjoy the comedy, the jokes are written for everyone to understand – even ‘white people,’” jokes Obeidallah.
