Omaha Wedding Coordinator Featured in Lifetime’s Get Married
Omaha, NE, September 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Omaha wedding coordinator Angela Brant, owner of In The Details Events, will be featured in an episode of Lifetime’s Get Married.
In the episode, Brant describes the destination wedding of Brenda and Aaron as one of her favorite weddings, despite the challenges Mother Nature provided that cold May day.
“The original plan was to have the ceremony outside and the reception inside a large, rustic barn in Nebraska City, Nebraska,” said Brant. “It was a fantastic, sunny day, but the weather was bitingly cold, due to a spring blizzard in Western Nebraska.”
The episode describes how Brant and her team of vendors came together and transformed the Lied Lodge Ballroom into a warm and inviting environment using elements of nature as the inspiration for the décor.
“We knew the look and feel the bride wanted,” said Brant. “With the barn already decorated with large bushels of apples, we carried the same look and feel indoors by arranging the same apples in glass vases on the tables.”
Along with the floral, catering, and décor, photographer Nina Sutherland added a playful feel to the reception by taking candid pictures of the bride, groom and guests.
“Weddings, like life, are going to throw you a lot of curve balls,” said Brant. “As a bride, you can embrace it and evolve with it. This is the most important day of your life and it should be enjoyed. With a little flexibility, organization, and communication Mother Nature can be bested.”
The Get Married episode airs Thursday, September 24, at 6:30 am CST, on Lifetime Network.
