However, thanks to Brenda Sanderson Shaw, they can finally find the answers behind these questions in her informative book, Telling Kids the Truth About Holidays: Is Santa Real?
In this book, Shaw offers many fun facts that teach kids--both young and old--how our favorite holidays and traditions came about, from Halloween to Valentine's Day to Christmas and more. Shaw also mentions the legendary individuals behind these special occasions, such as St. Valentine and Chris Kringle.

Shaw, who is a grandmother of four, came up with the idea to write the book after talking with her five-year-old grandson about the holidays.
