The Graves' Foundation Speaks Out: Finds a Voice in Hip Hop

bbAllen Consulting Group, LLC partners NYC based Graves' Disease Foundation with St. Paul, MN native and performance artist A&R

St. Paul, MN, September 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Graves’ Disease Foundation is clearing the way to forge new ground by partnering with Minnesota based performance and Hip Hop artist A&R and bbAllen Consulting Group, LLC. The consulting group handles the publicity for the artist and has also formed a relationship with the NYC based Graves' Disease Foundation.

Foundation president, Peter Filocamo has extended an invitation to Antonio Richardson also known by the name of A&R to participate in the upcoming Graves’ Disease Foundation conference in Charlotte NC, October 16-18, 2009 as a panel member and performer. The artist has also agreed to take part in a PSA campaign as an official spokesperson on behalf of the organization. The campaign will be orchestrated by bbAllen Consulting Group, LLC.

Richardson was diagnosed at the tender age of 13 and is very familiar with the emotional and psychological aspects of living with Graves’ disease. When I Cry is an original track written by the artist; it notes his struggle with the syndrome and the determination to win in life despite various battles. A&R wants the public to learn more about the disorder and says “I want to be a part of the solution. If I can use my experiences with life and graves’ to help someone else or find ways to raise awareness and money…then that’s what I’m going to do.” No stranger to winning. A&R is also the talent behind the Joe Mauer Theme Song which was heard each time the hard hitting Minnesota Twins player stepped up to the plate during the 2008 season.

Follow A&R on MySpace, Twitter and Facebook as he ventures into a ground breaking relationship with the foundation as the first ever Hip Hop artist to lend a voice to the cause.
