Cardiff Odd Jobs Website Connects Returning Students with Local Businesses

A Cardiff based jobs website JobOasis.co.uk is helping to connect local business with the student population in an innovative new way. The website was set up by Swansea University Graduate Nick Braithwaite who said;

The website will allow businesses to tap into the skill set of Cardiff’s large student base, the whole service has been made free to make it accessible to everyone in these harsh economic times.”

He added “When I was at university there were so many friends undertaking temporary work I though that there was a niche for a website that developed a community around temporary or one off jobs.”

JobOasis.co.uk has only been launched for 3 months but has already had a high sign up rate from people looking for jobs in Cardiff.
