Retail Business to Revitalize Shopping Experience and Operations with Business Process Automation
Alphalogix hosting free online presentation for retail business to learn about business process automation technology to improve customer service, supply chains and internal operations.
Huntington Beach, CA, September 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Alphalogix, provider of Tasica business process automation solutions, announced today their free online webinar for retail businesses to learn how business process automation technology can benefit their current operations. The webinar entitled From the Box to the Shopping Bag: Crafting Effective Shopping Experiences, Merchandising/Supply Chains and Operations will take place online on September 30, 2009 at 11am CT. To sign up for the free online event please visit Alphalogix online.
According a recent article from the National Retail Federation, retail industry sales (which exclude auto dealers, gas stations, and restaurants) saw their first gain in six months in August. Although many reports such as "Cautious optimism for economy as August sales jump" written by Christopher S. Rugaber for the KansasCity.com say that economists are warning the retail industry that consumer spending is still limited by tight credit and scarce job opportunities, shoppers were willing to spend more in August and therefore sales for the holiday season could potentially increase.
“Shoppers were a bit more comfortable digging into their wallets last month, and retailers are hopeful that we’ve turned a corner,” said Rosalind Wells, Chief Economist of NRF. “It is encouraging to see some momentum building as retailers anticipate the all-important holiday season.”
According to Bob McCandless, CEO of Alphalogix “As the economy begins to stabilize, consumer spending will continue to increase. Retailers have the opportunity now to gain more market space and profit while keeping their operational costs low.”
In the free online presentation, Alphalogix will discuss current trends for retail businesses and how current retail customers are using business process automation technology to enhance their internal operations. Attendees will learn how to easily and quickly create electronic forms and corresponding workflow with business logic decisions, corporate directory and database integrations.
Alphalogix will also demonstrate how retail businesses can apply this technology to both retail specific applications including franchise management, supply chain management and customer reward programs as well as general business applications such as Human Resource employee management, Accounting procurement systems and Marketing event promotions and campaigns.
“Business process automation software provides flexibility for businesses in any industry to create any type of workflow application they need to help improve their information exchange and processing time. This increased accuracy and speed can help significantly in they way retail businesses relate to their customers and distributors to ultimately gain a larger competitive edge and increased profits,” stated Mr. McCandless.
