Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center to Host Houston Aeros Preseason Action Versus the San Antonio Rampage at AEROSFEST on September 21st, 2009
Sugar Land, TX, September 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center will host the Houston Aeros versus key Texas rival, the San Antonio Rampage, in preseason hockey action on September 26th, 2009. Game time is 6:05pm. Tickets are available for $10 each and can be purchased in the Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center Proshop or by phone at 281-265-7465.
Prior to the game street hockey with HITS (Hockey In The Streets) and interactive hockey-themed games such as the giant Slapshot Tunnel will be offered. The Aeros dance team, the Aerodynamics, will perform and among the special guests expected to appear is Aeros mascot, Chilly. Pre-game activities begin at 3:00pm and will continue until 5:30pm. The festivities will continue during game intermissions as guests will be treated to exhibitions by the Aeros Sled Hockey Team and the UNITY synchronized skating team. Game ticket admission also includes a post game public skate session featuring Sugar Land’s own DJ Kane or a half ice broomball game.
