2009 Seneca Rotary Teachers of the Year
Seneca Rotary Club recognized the 2008-09 Teachers of the Year for the Seneca area schools.
Seneca, SC, October 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Seneca Rotary Club is proud to announce the 2008-09 Teachers of the year for the Seneca area schools. Recipients were Mrs. Butler, Northside Elementary School; Patsy Rankin, Kellett Elementary School; Suzannah Eleazer, Ravenel Elementary School; Jennifer Kohler, Seneca High School; Teresa Suggs, Code Elementary School; and Marcia Molloseau, Seneca Middle School. The teachers were introduced by Seneca Rotarians Richard Hull, Wayne Gallimore, Earnestine Williams, and Andy Anabinet.
Good students are the result of great teachers. Thus it is only natural the Seneca Rotary Club should honor the best teacher at each area school. Every year on the third Thursday of September, they do exactly that. An administrator from each Seneca school and their selected teacher are are treated to lunch. The teachers are introduced and awarded a plaque denoting their recognition.
The Seneca Rotary Club has been active in the city of Seneca since 1928 when it was chartered. The main focus of the club projects and fund raisers is to benefit area schools and children. The Seneca Rotary Club is made up of Seneca Area business people and community members who are working together to make Seneca a better place to live. For more information go to senecarotary.org.
