Gary Newberry Kicks Off Campaign for Florida House - District 66
Gary Newberry, of Winter Haven, officially kicked off his 2010 run for Florida House – District 66 Tuesday night, with a fundraiser held at the Winter Haven Garden Center.
Winter Haven, FL, September 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Newberry is running as a Republican candidate for Florida House – District 66 to fill the seat being vacated by Baxter Troutman, who has served two terms and has “termed out,” as prescribed by Florida law. District 66 includes portions of Winter Haven, Lakeland, Lake Wales, Frostproof, Mulberry, Bartow, Ft. Meade, Avon Park and all of Hardee County.
Gary Newberry, a 30-year resident of Winter Haven and owner/operator of the Newberry Clinic, is running a campaign of less government, lower taxes, the elimination of unfunded mandates and government accountability
The Newberry team is planning a dynamic campaign that will introduce Gary Newberry to the community and demonstrate that Gary Newberry is the right man to represent it in Tallahassee.
The next event is a “Meet-and-Greet Gary Newberry,” sponsored by the Friends of Newberry, Saturday, October 10th at the McGee/GoodYear Service Center, 1803 3rd Street Southwest (corner of Cypress Gardens Blvd. and Hwy. 17), Winter Haven, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. The event is open to the public with free food and beverages being served.
