About Brandy and Val, the Dogs
Val, a Hurricane Kaaltrina survivor, and his sister, Brandy, were both adopted through Fortunate Lab Rescue, based in Fox Lake, Illinois. Since their adoptions, both have gone from down-on-their luck pups to two of the most fortunate pooches around. They have earned their Canine Good Citizenship certificates and are proud to share their happiness with others through their participation in various Rainbow Pet Therapy programs and during their daily walks and car rides around town.
