Madison, WI, September 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Wisconsinmade.com carefully selects only the finest-quality products made in Wisconsin and offers them for sale on the Internet. "The high-quality workmanship evident in the decorative fire rings created at P & D Metal Works is exactly what Wisconsinmade.com is all about. These intricately-designed and carefully crafted utility-art pieces fit perfectly into our selection of unique, Wisconsin gifts," said Linda Remeschatis, owner of Wisconsinmade.com.
About P & D Metal Works:
Kim and Diane Pruchnofski of Neenah, Wisconsin opened a small fabrication and metal repair shop in 1998. Drawn to the artistic possibilities of metal work, the Pruchnofskis began designing decorative metal pieces for the home and garden. Soon their metal work was in demand and they were fast filling custom orders. They expanded their business twice, first in 2006 and then again in 2008 with a new building and seven employees. Highly popular are their decorative fire rings in which are carved whimsical scenes of the Wisconsin north woods. They produce the fire rings with high-quality, 12-guage steel to ensure durability and safety. Combining the artistic with the practical, the Pruchnofskis also offer a cooking grill and fire poker which make the fire rings a fun and safe way to cook over a campfire. The grill is fashioned with an all-steel frame and has a nickel chrome cooking surface for even heating. Its design enables the outdoor chef to raise and lower the grill and swivel it 360° in order to maximally adjust the proximity of the food over a wood fire. The grill section is detachable from the steel arm for easy cleaning. The easy assembly, cooking, and cleaning of their grill and fire rings were goals, not accidents. P&D Metal Works' products show careful attention paid to artistic detail, quality materials, and manufacturing processes. The Pruchnofskis say they make their fire rings with "intricately cut designs to produce a mesmerizing glow and create a peaceful atmosphere. Socializing around a campfire is a perfect way to entertain at home, the cabin or a campground." As much as they could, they took the work out of cooking over a campfire and added in extra fun.
