Michael Shepard is Excited for a New Business Opportunity with ActionCOACH
Michael Shepard joins the ActionCOACH team in Turnbridge Wells, UK, and looks forward to helping business owners in the town and surrounding areas.
Las Vegas, NV, October 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Michael Shepard is the newest ActionCOACH franchise owner in the United Kingdom. Shepard will operate his franchise in Turnbridge Wells and the surrounding areas. Ian Christelow is his Master Licensee.
“I was impressed and surprised to discover that there was a worldwide business focusing on the improvement of smaller businesses,” he said. “It sounded like a great opportunity, and was just what I was looking to get into.”
Not only was Shepard tired of working in the corporate world, he was also looking for the opportunity to do something rewarding that he could do indefinitely.
Prior to joining ActionCOACH, Shepard was in management services, then became a financial analyst and controller specifying in implementing new systems. Most recently, he was responsible for implementing and supporting ERP, CRM systems and workflow, and heading a data warehouse for a pan-European telecommunications company.
“My biggest accomplishments in my previous careers were pioneering the implementation of and troubleshooting ERP systems in some of the biggest manufacturing, distribution and leisure companies in the UK, and conceiving the need for the data warehouse and seeing it through to production,” he said. “I saw a need, secured a budget, recruited and managed a team to fulfill it and made sure the information produced met the needs of the business.”
Shepard believes his past experience in business will benefit his future ActionCOACH clients. “My career has been built upon objective analysis and developing solutions, followed by implementation,” he said. “Implementation is invariably about developing and training people. My approach to training is focused on ensuring that people understand the objectives of what they are doing.”
Shepard says he is most excited about the challenge of being a Business Coach. “A new project is always exciting, but being an ActionCOACH is a succession of new projects,” he said. “It’s going to be challenging to be in business on my own account. It will be a different world, but I’m excited for it and anticipating all the challenges it will bring.”
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
