Boston, MA, October 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Michael P. Harden, Chairman and CEO of Urbissimo, Inc. announced today the appointment of Matteo Cascinari as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer of Urbissimo Europe.
Matteo Cascinari is one of Italy’s most preeminent executives with a career that spans the traditional media, online media, and ecommerce industries. Until recently, he served as managing director of the Multimedia Area of “IlSole24Ore,” Italy’s leading economic and financial publishing group, with revenues of approximately €600 million. Prior to this position, he was in charge of online operations of the newswire agency “Radiocor,” and of IlSole24Ore’s real-time financial information service (similar to Bloomberg or Reuters). Additionally, Mr. Cascinari served as CEO of Ventiquattrore TV, and as Marketing Director of the publishing arm of The Walt Disney Co Italy.
