A Night to Remember: Win the Ultimate Prom Launches Annual Contest
Contest offers high school students the chance to put on the “Ultimate Prom” with a $25,000 prize
Scottsdale, AZ, October 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- VERGO Marketing, Inc. is pleased to present the fourth rendition of Grand Canyon University’s Win the Ultimate Prom (WUP) contest. WUP is an online contest that awards one high school $25,000 to produce the Ultimate Prom.
During a two month period from, October 1 through November 30, high schools nationwide will compete to win the $25,000 grand prize. Students recruit family, friends and community members to vote for their school by registering and voting once a day, every day at WintheUltimateProm.com. The school with the most cumulative votes at the end of the contest wins the $25,000.
This year, more schools will win! In addition to the $25K grand prize, WUP has partnered with GradCity, Awesome Club Prom and BuzzFree Prom to award even more prizes. The second place school will receive an Awesome Club Prom Package valued at $5,000. BuzzFree Prom, a nonprofit organization promoting safe and sober proms, will give the top 100 schools a BuzzFree Prom Kit valued at $200 each. GradCity, the Nation's Ultimate Travel Experience for Students, will host mini contests rewarding participating schools and individuals with additional prizes.

The winner of WUP will be announced December 15, 2009.
