Nashville, TN, October 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- “Artist to The Stars”, Corey Frizzell is honored to add Spc. Robert Ray Arsiaga from Midland TX as his next portrait to his “Fallen Heroes” project. Frizzell launched a new project in early 2009 to honor the memory of soldiers who have been killed in action while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Frizzell has a tribute page on his website at www.coreyfrizzell.com that honors these fallen and showcase the portraits he has created of these men and women. These portraits are created and presented free of charge to the families of these soldiers for their sacrifice.
Although Frizzell is a commission artist who caters a great deal to the Country Music industry, he also creates works of art for the general public but this project is special to him.
"It’s my view that whether you agree or not with our president or whether you agree or not with whatever war that our nation is involved in, there are men and women who are making sacrifices and defending our great nation who need our support. Not only are these soldiers making everyday sacrifices but so are their families. It’s because of the sacrifice that these brave soldiers are making on our behalf that we are able to live free and have so much opportunity. Sadly, some have made the ultimate sacrifice. We have soldiers dying that need to be remembered. They are part of the reason the Frizzell’s have been able to do what they do. The reason I am able to be who I am and do what I love to do. I have made a commitment to create as many portraits as I can of the soldiers who have lost their lives, serving in the United States Armed Forces during a time of war and present them to their families free or charge. It’s what little I can do to give back and honor their memory. These men and women deserve to be remembered.” – Corey
