Suspect Runs Out Door and Into K9 Unit After Sonitrol Pacific Detection
Snohomish, WA, October 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A suspected trespasser ran out the door of a Washington school and smacked into a police dog after the school’s Sonitrol Pacific security system detected activity September 5.
Sonitrol Pacific Operator Minta Christopherson received alerts from one of the schools double doors, followed by multiple audio sensor activations inside. She heard sounds of movement and called the sheriff’s department.
Deputies arrived with a police dog and began to investigate with a perimeter check. At that point, a suspect ran out a door and right into the K9 unit. According to officers, the juvenile was intoxicated and didn’t know where he was. Officers took him into custody and charged him with criminal trespass and as a minor in possession.
This is the second time this suspect has been picked up by deputies at this school.
