X-Factor Emerging for 2010 Orange County Mayoral Race
Veterans Advocate and Publicist Frank Torres to launch voter awareness campaign for 2010 Florida Elections.
Orlando, FL, October 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The 2010 Orange County mayoral election looks to be one of the biggest elections in the region’s history. Important decisions concerning the economy, transportation and the environment await Orange County’s next Mayor and one citizen is determine to make sure the right person gets the job. Local Veteran’s advocate and publicist Frank Torres will be doing his part to make sure he helps the right person get elected.
Frank sent out letters to all of the major mayoral candidates; congratulating them on they’re decisions to run and to remind them of what is at stake. “When we cast our ballots next year, we must be sure we’re selecting the best possible leader to guide us through these hard times” Says Torres. “They must be prepared to put aside political grandstanding and make the decisions that are going to solve the problems in our community”.
Torres is a long time resident of Orange County and 8 year Army Veteran. He will be launching a campaign to make Veterans and younger voters aware of the coming elections and to ensure they’re voices are heard. He will be using social networking sites, correspondence and word of mouth to get as many people to the polls as possible. “If last year’s 3 hour wait at the polls showed us anything, it’s that our younger citizens are falling in love with political process. The message needs to get out that next year’s elections are just as important.”
Frank will be addressing the other 2010 races as well and throwing his support behind his choices. Torres urges “This is not only about checking the box with the right name on it for me.
