Digital Signage Expo Conference Seminars to Feature Higher Education Professionals
Digital Signage Expo 2010 will present professionals from institutions of higher learning who work with digital signage and understand the challenges of working with digital signage interactive technologies and digital out-of-home networks and will share their peer experiences.
Atlanta, GA, October 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest International Tradeshow and Conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and out-of-home networks, will host speakers from MIT’s Senseable City Lab, Santa Clara University, the John Marshall Law School, John Logan College, and the Carl Sandburg Community College, at its Conference Program scheduled for February 23-25, 2010, in Las Vegas.
In four of the total eight Tracks available at DSE’s Conference, sessions will address twenty topical issues related to successful installation, deployment and operation of both Communications-based and Advertising-based Digital Out-of-Home Networks. Curricula will be offered both for attendees who require an in-depth and intelligent “Introduction” to these topics, as well as separate “Advanced” level sessions designed for those with more than two years of digital signage industry-related experience.
MIT’s Senseable City Lab’s Research Fellow, Christine Outram will co-present “Trends in Interactive Gestural & Touch Screen Applications”; Santa Clara’s Vice Provost for Information Services & CIO Ron Danielson will co-present, “How to Manage& Maintain a Successful Campus-Wide Digital Signage System”; The John Marshall Law School’s CTO, Information Technology Services, James Velco will co-present, “How They Did it: Three Real-World Models for Successful Communications-Based Digital Signage Networks”; John Logan College’s Dean for Student Services, Terry Crain, will co-present “Integrating Phones & Computers into Communications-Based Digital Signage Networks”; and Carl Sandburg Community College’s Vice President, Administrative Services & CIO, Sam Sudhakar will co-present “The Real Cost of Digital Signage: How to Plan & Budget for a Successful Deployment.”
