Life Group LA Takes the POZ Life Weekend Seminar to San Diego, CA
The Life Group LA announces that it will be bringing its team of volunteers to San Diego on November 14 and 15, 2009. The innovative Seminar is a place where compassion, education, community and love is offered unconditionally. It's a place where those infected or affected by HIV can be themselves, feel comfort and support in their effort to learn how to live a long healthy productive POZitive lifestyle or help someone they know overcome the fears associated with being HIV+.
San Diego, CA, October 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Life Group LA is proud to announce that it will be bringing its team of dedicated volunteers and presenters to the San Diego area on November 14th and 15th, 2009.
The innovative and ground breaking POZ Life Weekend Seminar is a place where compassion, education, community and love is offered unconditionally. It's a place HIV+ men, women, youths, family members and care givers can come be themselves, feel comforted and supported in their effort to learn how to either live a long healthy productive POZitive lifestyle, or help someone they know and love overcome the fears associated with being HIV+ at no cost… the seminar is Free.
Life Group's diverse group of Presenters, Volunteers and Staff effectively reach out and relate to the specific issues that can concern an equally diverse group of men, women, people of color, gay men and heterosexual HIV positive or negative individuals no matter what age.
“This event is being made possible by a collaboration with the UCSD Antiviral Research Center, Fallbrook Pharmacy, Tibotec Therapeutics and Bristol Meyers Squibb who are equally as passionate about education and emotionally supporting our mutual communities. The Life Group LA is a coalition of people dedicated to the education, empowerment and emotional support of persons both infected and affected by HIV/AIDS so that they may make informed choices and decisions regarding their healthcare and personal well being.
Founded in 2005 The Life Group LA provides free of charge, much needed information and emotional support through medical forums, emotional support groups and the POZ Life Weekend Seminar. All services are offered in a non-judgmental and safe environment with compassion and understanding.
