Cass MSc Management Ranked 2nd in the UK by Financial Times
Annual rankings recognises high quality of Cass programme
London, United Kingdom, October 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Financial Times has today published the Masters in Management rankings for 2009 and Cass Business School has retained last year’s position of 15th in the world and second in the UK.
This is a good result for the School and in spite of the global recession, there has been a significant increase in applications across their Cass MSc programmes meaning that the calibre of the current cohorts is exceptional. In addition, the quality of teaching, the increased power of the Cass brand, and consistently good rankings have contributed to this very positive outcome overall.
Cass has received significant profile in this special FT feature, published in magazine format within the newspaper.
Professor Andrew Clare, Associate Dean of Cass MSc Programmes says: “Other academic institutions who were close to us last year have slumped, which means that the rankings are volatile and we cannot be complacent in a highly competitive market. Our aim is to improve our position in this and other rankings and our strategy for achieving this is to continuously improve the quality of what we deliver so that we attract the best students and provide an enhanced student experience.
"This is, of course, a communal success - much of what has been achieved is thanks to the input of alumni and we hope that you will continue to maintain a relationship with the School to help ensure that our recognition continues to grow."
The rankings are based on data collected from two separate sources: business schools and alumni who graduated four years previously, in this case, 2005.
