The UOC - Open University of Catalonia - The Global Online University Joins the YouTube EDU Educational Platform
The UOC has joined the YouTube EDU educational platform (http://www.youtube.com/edu), a teaching platform which provides users with content from higher education institutions. As of today, the YouTube channels of universities in seven European and Middle Eastern countries, including Spain, France, Italy and Great Britain, will be centralised and accessible on Google?s video platform.
Barcelona, Spain, October 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Not only do universities such as the UOC that appear on YouTube offer users an overall view of academic life in online video format with virtual tours of campuses, sports events, etc., they also enable self-study pupils and students to contact world renowned lecturers, irrespective of their geographical location or the university where they are studying, thereby fostering the exchange of ideas.
